Though not a physical space, this garden is where fragments of past landscapes, fleeting moments, and traces of vanished time quietly settle. Drawing upon his own memories, the artist brings this inner garden onto the canvas, revealing how even the most ordinary moments of daily life can, over time, become beautiful landscapes.

The boy who appears throughout the works is a figure the artist calls the “gardener.” He is both another version of the artist himself and an observer who looks upon memories from a slight distance. The gardener rediscovers forgotten scenes and quietly reflects on traces of time that have long remained within him. Through slow gestures of wandering, lingering, and gazing absentmindedly, he does not attempt to create something entirely new, but instead gently revives emotions that once existed yet were overlooked and allowed to pass by.

What he discovers are not grand or extraordinary scenes.
