At the ARTN Edition Gallery & Café in Hyundai Department Store Cheonho, the worlds of two artists—Japan’s Muu Nanahoshi (@nanahoshimuu) and Korea’s Lee Sara (@artist_saralee)—unfolded side by side under the title Echoes of Imagination. Though raised in different cultures, the two artists, born in the same year, share a remarkably similar creative sensibility.

Muu Nanahoshi depicts cosmic and oceanic landscapes through her wide-eyed character Rinkle, layering deep colors to create dreamlike scenes that carry a gentle warmth and quiet comfort. Lee Sara invites viewers into her own utopian realm, Wonderland, where a bright-eyed girl and the charming Lucky Bear evoke purity and hope. Her layered and scraped textures leave a distinctive trace, adding depth and vitality to the work.

Though crafted in different visual languages, both artists’ works resonate with the same emotional temperature—hope, solace, and warmth—coming together in the gallery as a single, harmonious echo.

The exhibition took on added meaning within the ARTN Edition Gallery & Café, a space where visitors can not only view and purchase artworks but also linger with a cup of coffee, experiencing art more naturally within their daily routine. It offered a fresh model of what “everyday art consumption” can look like.
