Roby Dwi Antono's solo exhibition “Mystique Moonlight” is presented at Gana Art Bogwang in Seoul from Aug 30 – Sep 25, 2022. Marking the Indonesian artist's first solo exhibition in Korea, the show features new paintings and drawings inspired by moonlight and the night sky. Through surreal scenes populated by wide-eyed children, dinosaurs, and hybrid creatures, Antono explores the coexistence of darkness and light, innocence and the grotesque. The moon emerges as a symbol of life's enduring light, inviting viewers to contemplate a dreamlike world beyond conventional notions of time and space.
