The two-person exhibition featuring Shin Soo-won and Si Hye-jin is presented at Gallery Insa Art in Seoul from Mar 20 – Mar 25, 2024. Bringing together two distinct artistic perspectives, the exhibition explores themes of hope, memory, nature, and coexistence. Shin Soo-won draws inspiration from childhood memories and the imaginative world of Daddy-Long-Legs, using playful, spontaneous expressions to convey optimism and the joy of living in the present. Si Hye-jin examines the relationships between humans, nature, and existence through her Ecotopia and Organism series, creating contemplative landscapes with restrained colors, simplified forms, and layered textures. Together, their works invite viewers to reflect on happiness, interconnectedness, and the possibility of a more harmonious world.
