The solo exhibition “The Transcript of the Moonlight” by Lee Jae-sam is presented at Gallery Grimson in Seoul from Jan 16 – Mar 3, 2020. Featuring large-scale charcoal paintings of red plum blossoms, trees, mist, bamboo, and waterfalls, the exhibition explores the relationship between nature, darkness, and moonlight. 이재삼 개인전 《달빛녹취록》은 서울 갤러리 그림손에서 2020년 1월 16일부터 3월 3일까지 진행된다. 이번 전시는 목탄을 통해 자연의 본질과 달빛의 의미를 탐구하는 작가의 대표작과 새롭게 선보이는 홍매화 대작을 비롯해 나무, 물안개, 대나무, 폭포 연작을 소개한다. 작가는 캔버스 위에 목탄을 반복적으로 문지르고 쌓아 올리는 과정을 통해 깊고 밀도 높은 검은 공간을 형성하며, 어둠 속에서 빛과 함께 드러나는 자연의 형상과 보이지 않는 풍경의 이면을 표현한다. 실제 자연을 바탕으로 재구성된 풍경은 구상과 추상이 공존하는 독창적인 화면으로 확장되며, 삶과 영혼, 눈에 보이지 않는 초월적 공간에 대한 사유를 이끌어낸다.
