The solo exhibition “Kwang Young Chun: WORKS 1975–2018” is presented at PKM Gallery in Seoul from Apr 6 – Jun 5, 2018. Spanning more than four decades of the artist's practice, the exhibition brings together his early abstract paintings from the 1970s and recent three-dimensional works created with traditional Korean mulberry paper, known as Hanji. At the heart of the exhibition is Chun's signature Aggregation series, in which small triangular forms are individually wrapped in Hanji, naturally dyed, and assembled into intricate compositions. Reflecting on collective memory, Korean identity, and the relationship between individuals and society, the exhibition reveals the evolution of Chun's artistic language through vibrant colors, sculptural textures, and the harmonious accumulation of countless fragments.

전광영 개인전 《WORKS 1975–2018》은 2018년 4월 6일부터 6월 5일까지 서울 PKM 갤러리에서 열린다. 이번 전시는 1970년대 초기 추상 평면회화부터 전통 한지를 활용한 입체적 회화 신작까지, 40여 년에 걸친 작가의 예술적 여정을 조명한다. 특히 대표 연작 《집합(Aggregation)》은 한지로 감싸고 묶은 작은 삼각 오브제들을 천연 염색한 뒤 하나의 거대한 화면으로 결집하는 작업으로, 개인과 집단의 기억, 한국 사회의 역사적 경험을 독창적인 조형 언어로 풀어낸다. 다채로운 색채의 한지 조각 회화와 초기 색면추상 작품을 함께 선보이며, 평면에서 입체로 확장된 작가의 조형적 실험과 한국적 정체성을 바탕으로 구축한 예술 세계를 살펴본다.
