The solo exhibition “The Apricot Tree House” by Seo SookHee is presented at Simyo Gallery in Jongno-gu, Seoul from May 6 – May 20, 2026. The exhibition features layered landscape works painted on acrylic boxes, created through repeated acts of painting, drawing, scraping, repainting, and rubbing. Mountains, rivers, skies, night scenes, stars, trees around the studio, an old church held in memory, and a house with an apricot tree appear through light and shadow, inviting viewers into the quiet depth of the artist’s accumulated time.

서숙희 개인전 《살구나무 집》은 서울 종로구 율곡로1길에 위치한 심여화랑에서 2026년 5월 6일부터 5월 20일까지 진행된다. 이번 전시는 세 장의 아크릴 박스에 직접 그리고 칠하고, 긁어내고 문지르는 과정을 거쳐 완성한 첩첩 산수화를 중심으로 선보인다. 작가가 받아들인 산과 강물, 하늘과 밤, 별과 작업실 주변의 나무들, 기억 속 교회와 살구나무가 있는 집은 빛과 그림자로 남겨지며 관람객을 머물게 한다.
