유영국: 산은 내 안에 있다

2026 Korean Modern Masters 《Yoo Youngkuk: A Mountain Within Me》 is presented at the Seosomun Main Branch of the Seoul Museum of Art from May 19 – Oct 25, 2026. Marking the 110th anniversary of Yoo Youngkuk’s birth, the exhibition brings together more than 170 works and archival materials, including paintings, reliefs, photographs, drawings, and previously unseen works, to explore the artist’s lifelong pursuit of abstraction through mountains, color, line, and form.
2026년 한국 근대 거장전 《유영국: 산은 내 안에 있다》는 서울시립미술관 서소문본관에서 2026년 5월 19일부터 10월 25일까지 진행된다. 유영국 탄생 110주년을 기념하는 이번 전시는 미공개작을 포함한 회화, 부조, 사진, 드로잉, 아카이브 170여 점을 통해 한국 추상 미술의 선구자인 유영국의 60여 년 화업을 조망한다. 작가가 반복적으로 탐구한 ‘산’은 실제 풍경이자 기억, 그리고 선과 색으로 구축된 내면의 조형적 구조로 제시된다.
