LeeSeoul Gallery presents Lee Hyemin’s solo exhibition “Longing” from Apr 3 – Apr 29, 2019. In her “Longing (情)” series, the artist paints figures and scenes that evoke childhood memories and the warmth of earlier time, inviting viewers to reconnect with personal recollection and quiet emotion. Lee (b. 1954) studied applied arts at Seoul National University and later specialized in industrial art and visual design at the graduate level, continuing her practice from her studio in Yangpyeong.

이혜민 개인전 《그리움》은 2019년 4월 3일부터 4월 29일까지 리서울갤러리에서 진행된다. 작가는 ‘그리움(情)’ 연작을 통해 유년의 기억과 보편적 정서를 인물과 풍경에 담아내며, 그림 앞에 선 관람객이 각자의 추억과 감정으로 자연스럽게 되돌아가도록 이끈다. 이혜민(1954~)은 서울대학교 미술대학 응용미술학과를 졸업하고 동 대학원에서 산업미술과 시각디자인을 전공했으며, 2003년부터 양평 작업실을 기반으로 작업을 이어간다.
