Kulturstiftung Basel H. Geiger (KBH.G) presents the solo exhibition “HOWEVER WE SAW THE SAME STAR” by Kim Jungman from Dec 1, 2023 – Feb 11, 2024. The exhibition offers approximately 40 of the artist’s significant photographs created between 2006 and 2017, focusing on Asian landscapes and meditative scenes. This presentation marks Kim Jungman’s first solo exhibition in Europe in over four decades and showcases his shift from commercial photography to a deep engagement with nature and cultural identity. The exhibition also serves as a tribute following the artist’s passing in late 2022, carried forward by his family and collaborators.
