Yoon Sun Hong is an artist whose work is based on the consistent sense of stability found in traditional Korean painting techniques. Using methods such as scratching and inlay (象嵌), he transforms and sublimates his subjects into unique works of art. His primary subjects are flowers and plants, through which he seeks to express the humble, simple, and ordinary elements of his surroundings.

The plants in his works each tell their own story, and alongside them, various forms of window frames appear.
