붓을 들면 언제나 꿈꾸던 동화 속 세계로 들어간다는 김민정. 그의 작품은 봄의 전령사처럼 흐드러진 꽃과 포근한 색으로 가득 차 있으며, 그 안에는 길한 기운을 지닌 기린 한 쌍이 그려져 있다. 이 기린은 그가 추구하는 사랑의 상징이자 기쁨의 아바타로, 서로 마주 보는 모습은 행복의 메타포로 다가온다.

김민정은 자신의 작품을 통해 생명의 소리가 화려한 색들과 어우러져 모든 것이 평온하고 아름다울 수 있기를 진심으로 바란다. 그는 봄이 오면 새롭게 옷을 입는 세상처럼 햇볕 가득한 삶의 정원에 꽃을 피우듯, 세상과 소통하고 싶은 마음을 담고 있다.

추상과 구상이라는 장르에 구애받지 않고 관객과의 소통을 이어가는 김민정은 앞으로도 행복 전도사로서 그림 활동을 활발히 이어 나갈 것이다. 그는 수원대학교 미술대학원 조형예술학과를 졸업하였으며, 충청남도미술대전 및 대한민국미술대전에서 특선을 수상하는 등 뛰어난 성과를 거두었다. 또한 한국미술협회 이사로서도 활발히 활동하며, 예술계에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있다.

Kim Min Jung says that whenever she picks up a brush, she enters the fairy-tale world she has always dreamed of. Her works are filled with lush blossoms and gentle colors, like harbingers of spring, and within them appears a pair of qilin endowed with auspicious energy. These qilin symbolize the love she pursues and serve as avatars of joy, their facing figures forming a metaphor for happiness.

Through her art, Kim Min Jung sincerely hopes that the sound of life, interwoven with vibrant colors, can render everything peaceful and beautiful. Like the world that dons new garments when spring arrives, she expresses a desire to communicate with the world by letting flowers bloom in a sun-filled garden of life.

Free from the constraints of abstraction or figuration, Kim Min Jung continues to engage in dialogue with viewers and will carry on her practice as a messenger of happiness. She graduated from the Department of Plastic Arts at the Graduate School of Art, Suwon University, and has achieved notable success, including Special Selection awards at the Chungcheongnam-do Art Exhibition and the Korea Fine Arts Exhibition. She is also actively involved as a board member of the Korea Fine Arts Association, contributing positively to the art community.
