이윤진은 서울대학교 동양화과와 동 대학원을 졸업했다. 그의 그림은 화려하고 소란스러운 일상의 시간 속에서 잠시 쉬어 갈 수 있는 마음의 여유를 주며, 순수하고 고요한 품격을 갖추고 있다.

순지 위에 담묵으로 점, 선, 면의 기본 요소를 반복해서 쌓아올려 생각과 감정, 시간을 오롯이 담아낸다. 보는 이에게 번잡한 도시를 벗어나 선계에 다다른 듯한 신비함을 선사한다.

2011년 서울대 우석홀에서의 ‘바라보기’라는 첫 개인전을 시작으로 뮤지엄 산, 이천시립월전미술관, 온드림 소사이어티, 진도현대미술관 등에서 ‘쉬어가기’, ‘고요함 속의 움직임’, ‘유유자적’ 등의 제목으로 여러 차례 개인전과 단체전에 참여하며 왕성히 활동하고 있다. 동양화의 전통 기법으로 새로운 가능성을 보여주는 이윤진은 젊은 유망주로 주목 받고 있다.

Lee Yun Jin graduated from the Department of Oriental Painting at Seoul National University and completed his graduate studies at the same institution. His paintings offer a moment of mental rest amid the brilliant and noisy rhythms of everyday life, embodying a sense of purity and quiet dignity.

By repeatedly layering the fundamental elements of dots, lines, and planes in light ink on plain paper, he fully contains thought, emotion, and time within the surface. His works present viewers with a sense of mystery, as if stepping away from the bustling city and arriving in a transcendent realm.

Beginning with his first solo exhibition titled “Gazing” at Wooseok Hall, Seoul National University, in 2011, he has been actively participating in numerous solo and group exhibitions at venues such as Museum SAN, Icheon Woljeon Museum of Art, OnDream Society, and Jindo Museum of Contemporary Art, under titles including “Taking a Rest,” “Movement within Stillness,” and “Leisurely Ease.” Lee Yun Jin is recognized as a promising young artist, demonstrating new possibilities through the traditional techniques of Oriental painting.
