LEE BO YUN
이보윤 작가는 경희대학교 시각디자인을 졸업한 후 왕성하게 활동하고 있다. 작가는 '행복'이라는 이상을 수천수만 개의 집으로, 풍선으로, 별로 그려낸다. 펜과 색연필, 그리고 자개를 통해 종이 위에 담담하게 우리 주변을 하나하나 표현하며 행복과 사랑, 꿈, 평온, 위로의 메시지를 전한다.
“그림을 보는 순간만큼이라도, 이 순간이 찰나일지라도, 간절한 행복이 온전히 다 내 것이라는 평온이 찾아오기를.” 작가는 가장 일상적인 공간인 집과 서정적인 풍경을 그리며 무수한 ‘삶’들이 ‘행복’이 되길 기원한다. 우리 각각의 이야기가 담긴 삶의 모습을 풍선으로 그려내 설렘을 주고, 별을 통해 소원을 이루어주는 작가의 시선에는 응원의 마음이 담겨있다.
Lee Boyun graduated from Kyung Hee University with a degree in Visual Design and has since been actively pursuing her artistic practice. She expresses the ideal of “happiness” through thousands—indeed tens of thousands—of houses, balloons, and stars. Using pen, colored pencils, and mother-of-pearl, she calmly and meticulously depicts the world around us on paper, conveying messages of happiness, love, dreams, peace, and comfort.
“The moment you look at the painting—even if that moment is fleeting—I hope a sense of calm arrives, where earnest happiness feels wholly and truly yours.” Through depictions of homes—the most everyday of spaces—and lyrical landscapes, the artist wishes that the countless forms of ‘life’ may become ‘happiness.’
By portraying lives filled with individual stories as balloons, her work evokes a sense of excitement, while stars become symbols that grant wishes. Within her gaze lies a heartfelt message of encouragement, offering quiet support and hope to those who encounter her art.
