Kim Dong Yoo primarily creates “pixel mosaic paintings,” where small, cell-like images compose an entire work. In his art, contemporary humans exist not as physical beings but as images, which function as independent entities rather than mere representations. His images appear smooth externally yet are inherently fluid and dual in nature.
