조성민은 영국 왕립예술대학(Royal College of Art, RCA)을 졸업한 뒤 서울을 기반으로 활발히 활동 중인 신예 디자이너이다. 그는 패션과 디자인 전반을 아우르며 패턴과 공간을 중심으로 자신만의 조형 언어를 구축해 왔다.

2021년 5월 패션 브랜드 JADEN CHO(제이든 초)를 론칭했으며, 신진 브랜드 UMBER POSTPAST(엄버 포스트파스트)의 디렉터로서 폭넓은 스펙트럼의 작업을 선보이고 있다. 조성민은 과거와 현대, 동양과 서양을 연결하며 장인정신이 깃든 감각적인 스타일을 통해 지속 가능한 동시대 디자인을 탐구한다.

매 시즌 꽃과 자연에서 영감을 받아 새로운 패턴과 텍스처를 개발하며, 현대적인 여성상을 제시한다. 패션을 넘어 가구와 공간 기획 등 원단과 패턴을 활용한 다양한 분야로 활동 영역을 확장해 왔으며, 프롭 스타일리스트로서 <W>, <VOGUE>, <ELLE> 등 유수의 매거진과 지속적인 협업을 이어오고 있다.

Cho Sung Min is an emerging designer based in Seoul, having graduated from the Royal College of Art (RCA) in the UK. His practice spans fashion and design, centering on pattern and space to develop a distinctive visual language.

In May 2021, he launched his fashion label JADEN CHO and currently serves as the director of the emerging brand UMBER POSTPAST. Connecting past and present, East and West, Cho presents a refined style rooted in craftsmanship while exploring sustainable approaches to contemporary design.

Each season, he develops new patterns and textures inspired by flowers and nature, proposing a modern vision of femininity. Extending beyond fashion into furniture and spatial design, Cho is also widely recognized as a prop stylist, collaborating with leading magazines such as <W>, <VOGUE>, and <ELLE> across various creative projects.
