브라운 아이드 소울은 음악을 만드는 능력과 노래 실력을 모두 갖춘 네 명의 뮤지션이 모여 결성된 대한민국의 리듬 앤 블루스(R&B), 소울 음악 그룹이다. 나얼, 정엽, 성훈, 영준으로 구성된 이들은 국내에서는 비주류로 여겨졌던 흑인음악을 중심으로 10년이 넘는 시간 동안 꾸준히 자신들만의 음악 세계를 구축해 왔다.

정통 소울 음악을 기반으로 한 깊이 있는 하모니와 완성도 높은 발라드는 브라운 아이드 소울의 가장 큰 강점이다. 방송 활동보다는 공연을 중심으로 활동해 왔음에도 불구하고, <비켜줄게>, <Love Ballad>, <My Story> 등 다수의 히트곡을 통해 두터운 팬층의 지지를 받아왔다.

2003년 정규 1집 <Soul Free>로 데뷔한 이후, 2007년 2집 <The Wind, The Sea, The Rain>, 2010년 3집 <Brown Eyed Soul>, 2014년 4집 <Thank Your Soul - Side A>, 2015년 <SOUL COOKE>를 발표했다. 또한 팬들의 요청에 힘입어 2007년 크리스마스 공연 실황을 담은 라이브 앨범 <Brown Eyed Soul Christmas Concert Live 2007>을 2008년 말에 발매했다. 2016년에는 아트앤프린트스튜디오와의 협업을 통해 그림 선물 프로젝트에 참여하며 음악을 넘어 문화적 영역으로 활동을 확장했다.

Brown Eyed Soul is a South Korean R&B and soul group formed by four highly skilled musicians known for both their songwriting and vocal abilities. Composed of Naul, Jungyup, Sung Hoon, and Young Jun, the group has spent over a decade cultivating a distinct musical identity rooted in soul and rhythm & blues—genres that were once considered niche within the Korean music scene.

Built upon rich harmonies and refined musicality, Brown Eyed Soul delivers authentic soul music alongside sophisticated ballads. Despite focusing primarily on live performances rather than broadcast appearances, the group has produced numerous hit songs such as <Just Let It Go>, <Love Ballad>, and <My Story>, earning a devoted and enduring fan base.

Since their debut album <Soul Free> in 2003, Brown Eyed Soul has released a series of acclaimed albums including <The Wind, The Sea, The Rain> (2007), <Brown Eyed Soul> (2010), <Thank Your Soul – Side A> (2014), and <SOUL COOKE> (2015). In response to fans wishing to preserve the emotion of their live performances, the group released the live album <Brown Eyed Soul Christmas Concert Live 2007> at the end of 2008. In 2016, they further expanded their creative reach by participating in an art gift project through a collaboration with Art & Print Studio, bridging music and visual culture.
