Anna Marrow studied printmaking in Bristol and went on to study Communication Design at Central Saint Martins, where she developed her professional expertise in illustration. Her practice follows a distinctive process that begins with ink drawings, evolves into collage, and culminates in screen printing.

Drawing inspiration from walks around the city, Marrow combines ordinary objects with urban and natural elements to create humorous and characterful images. Her works are both bold and delicate, excelling at conveying the chaos of the city through rich and vibrant color.

Her most recent works focus on the random messages and commands encountered in everyday life, as well as the rapid pace of contemporary living. Marrow says that she embraces the confusion and diversity of modern urban life and continuously strives to reflect these qualities in her work.
